Dang Viet became an official member of the US Green Building Council

Aiming at achieving green LEED certification in design & construction projects, Dang Viet has officially become a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

With green construction activities around the world in recent years and Vietnam is no exception. The leading organizations involved in construction are always focused on investment & construction of green buildings.

In the development strategy until 2025 - Dang Viet Electrical Mechanical Joint Stock Company strives to strive to become one of the leading M&E contractors in Vietnam.

Becoming a USGBC Member is the next step for Dang Viet to integrate with sustainable construction-related organizations around the world. Dang Viet spends time & money to train engineers, popularize knowledge about fuel saving and design solutions, environmentally friendly, save operating costs.

The US Green Building Council (USGBC) was established in 1993 as a member-based non-profit organization to promote the design, construction, and operation of construction work in a sustainable way. USGBC is known for developing the Energy and Environmental Design Leadership Assessment System (LEED) and the annual Green Building International Conference. USGBC is one of eight national councils that helped establish the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).

LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is a pioneering international standard for evaluating energy saving and environmental protection factors of buildings. Through many stages of development and supplementation, today, the LEED standard is recognized as the most comprehensive Green standard for human living space.

More specifically, the living space with that LEED standard is a combination of:

GREEN landscape: Green space, helps purify the air, reduce heat and reduce environmental pollution.
